Cider Sidecar

An effervescent Christmas cocktail, mixed to perfection using Tassie apple cider.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Tasmanian Apple Cider
  • 60 ml Cognac
  • 30 ml Cointreau
  • 30 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 1 strip lemon jest to serve

Method

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the cider, cognac, Cointreau and lemon juice. Top with ice.
  2. Shake until the shaker starts to frost on the outside (bout 30 seconds)
  3. Strain into a glass and top with lemon zest.
