While most of the fruit trees have closed up shop for the winter, apples, pears and lemons are thriving in our Tasmanian climate! You’ll find the local apples and pears to be absolutely sensational at the moment and the prices in stores reflect their abundance.
An enormous array of vegetables absolutely thrive in our beautiful climate. Our local farms are very busy harvesting all sorts of vegetables to be delivered directly to our Salamanca Fresh stores.
This season you’ll be able to find freshly harvested Tasmanian: artichokes, asparagus, beans, beetroot, bok choy, broad beans, broccoli & broccolini, cabbages, carrots, cauliflower, chillies, garlic, kale, leeks, lettuce, onions, parsnips, peas, potatoes, pumpkins, radish, rhubarb, rocket, silver beet, spinach, swedes, turnips and zucchini.
