100% Huon Valley Apple Juice

Mark and Christine Duggan have not only perfected the craft of apple juicing, but also apple growing. They grow 17 varieties of apples and blend the juices to get the unique crisp flavour of Huon Valley Juice.

Mark and Christine are born and bred Huon locals, and so are their apples. Mark’s father lived on the family orchard in Cradoc for over 60 years, and then Mark and Christine took over with dreams of fresh apple juice. That was five years ago – now their juice is a cool local commodity.The Huon Valley Juice Company makes around 1500 litres of juice a week – that’s about 10,000 apples! The juice is 100% pure – no added sugars, colours or flavours – just naturally squeezed cold pressed apple juice. “You’ve got to have the best apples from the best climate and have the cleanest fruit available to make quality juice,” explains Mark. “Salamanca Fresh has been a great supporter of our product – each week I deliver the fresh juice and proudly put it on the shelf.”

The Huon Valley Juice Company also produces fresh organic apple juice from their organic apples.Mark and Christine support other nearby specialty food businesses with their plentiful apple production. Some of the juice is supplied direct to local cider makers Coal Valley Vineyard, Devils Brewery and Bruny Island Cider, and much of the remaining apple pulp feeds the rare-breed pigs at Fat Pig Farm.
