Introducing a New Vegan Cheese

An exciting new product has just been added to the Lauds offerings – the Tasty Oat Melt.

Tasty oat melt came about after the success of its big brother, the original Oat Melt. After talking to the customers, Lauds knew that the consumer wanted a product that had more flavour-but still with benefits of being meltable. So after much recipe development, the team came up with the awesome new tasty oat melt. This vegan cheese still has the great health benefits of all the other Lauds cheeses but with a much fuller flavour profile.

Crafted as a ‘tasty’ melting product, it contains matured cashew cheese, thus exhibiting a stronger, cheesier flavour. It is a versatile cheese that melts, bubbles and browns, much like regular dairy cheese.

This new vegan cheese has no artificial flavour profile and has a higher melting point than traditional cheese. This makes it perfect for topping pizzas, lasagne or nachos, making toasted sandwiches and can be added to savoury pastries for melting cheese indulgence.
